Accessibility
We designed Learn.GIENC with accessibility as a priority. We use plain language, alternative text, closed captioning, and approachable color palettes to make courses easy to follow for all users. We are very mindful of the neurodiversity of our population, so we follow best practices in our web design and employ the use of tools like contrast checkers, language editors, and accessibility guidelines to ensure interfaces, experiences, illustrations, and videos meet the needs of learners. We also include structural elements across our site to make navigating easy for those using assistive technology and those browsing without a mouse or touchscreen.
