Description

Job searching puts a lot of pressure on applicants, and knowing which positions you should apply for can be difficult. This course will help you spot job posts you should avoid, know when to ask questions, and recognize the best opportunities for you.

CEU Credits

Enrolled users will earn 0.3 continuing education units (CEUs) upon completing the course.

Objectives

  1. Learners will be able to identify MLM Businesses, misleading companies, and unrealistic salaries
  2. Learners will be able to evaluate job descriptions and offers with a checklist
  3. Learners will be able to evaluate job descriptions and contracts
  4. Learners will be able to prepare important questions before accepting an offer
  5. Learners will be able to explain and compare benefits packages

Prerequisite Skills

The ability to manage time and work independently on a course, the ability to read content at an eighth grade-level in a digital format (or accessibility tools to assist, like screenreader software).

Course Grading Policy

In order to receive CEU credit for this course, you must earn a score of 80% or higher on any quizzes.
