Prepare for an Interview
Description
After you’ve submitted applications for jobs, hiring managers will reach out to schedule interviews. While these might be in person or over a communication software like Zoom, preparing for them will follow similar steps. In this lesson, you’ll learn about preparing for interviews, from doing research, to practicing answering questions, to what you need to bring and wear.
CEU Credits
Enrolled users will earn 0.1 continuing education units (CEUs) upon completing the course.
Objectives
- Learners will be able to research companies and roles prior to an interview.
- Learners will be able to respond to interview questions.
- Learners will be able to describe what it means to show up prepared for an interview.

Prerequisite Skills
The ability to manage time and work independently on a course, the ability to read content at a sixth grade level in a digital format (or accessibility tools to assist, like screenreader software)
Course Grading Policy
In order to receive CEU credit for this course you must earn a score of 70% or higher on any quizzes.

- Equipment: a computer, tablet, or smart phone, access to the internet, headphones (optional)
- Skills: the ability to navigate a course within a web browser, the ability to navigate from the course to other given websites and back
